Duke Start-Up Challenge! 04/16/12, 11:35 am
The Duke Start-Up Challenge gives the opportunity for one lucky idea to win $50,000. The competition is heating up and the field has been narrowed down to three finalists to face off in the Grand Finale. The Duke Start-Up challenge, an entrepreneurial endeavor in and of itself, dates back to 2000 and vies to fill the need for entrepreneurial collaboration among students on our campus. The Start-Up Challenge highlights three goals: to partner with unique resources within the Duke community and greater region, to educate students in the developing and evaluating of entrepreneurial ventures, and to foster new business formation and economic development. Most importantly it gives Duke’s creative entrepreneurs a chance to shine! The three finalists CranioVation, Nanoly and Zamsolar will present to win the final prize of $50,000 this Friday, April 20th at 7:30 in Fuqua’s Geneen Auditorium!
